MISSIONS
In accordance with Matthew 28:19-20, Oak Heights is committed to reaching out to all nations with the gospel. Members have participated in short-term projects locally, nationally and internationally. Other members have come to Oak Heights with long-term missionary experience.
The current voluntary missions committee promotes ministry opportunities, communicates with missionaries abroad and integrates missions activities into the life of the church.
Oak Heights specifically supports Karl and Sue Peterson, Covenant missionaries serving in Mexico City. Our church is a member of the Common Cup ministry in Hutchinson. We also contribute to and participate in a number of ministries in the community.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28: 19-20
