“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest,” were the words of Jesus to his disciple in Mark 6:31 when there were so many people coming and surrounding them. It was an exhausting time. Christ's invitation is open to all. He is the Good Shepherd who calls us to join him and find rest with him. Our Wednesday evening study will see how three Psalms in the Old Testament were put together in a way that point to Christ in the New Testament, some 1000 years later. Through this study we will see that we need to meet him at his Cross as he Shepherds us with his Crook and will lead us to glory as he is Crowned King.
