The music ministry of Oak Heights Covenant Church serves the purposes of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encouraging believers in their walk with Christ, leading the congregation in worship and providing an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship experience. The music ministry spreads the Word of God through musical expressions.
The music ministry of Oak Heights Covenant Church involves two groups – the worship band and the tech team. The worship band consists of volunteers from all walks of life, generations, and musical backgrounds, who are willing to share their musical talent with the church as we all join in worship together through song. The tech team consists of volunteers who run the soundboard,
media, and lighting during each worship service.
The worship ministries at Oak Heights strive to keep God central in all services. There are many opportunities for those who are looking to get involved. For Sundays to go smoothly we need: AV techs, ushers, greeters, Scripture readers, instrumentalists, and vocalists. We are always looking for new volunteers!
