Whether you are visiting at the church today, or you just dropped by our website, I want to personally give you a welcome to Oak Heights Covenant Church. I also invite you to look around the website to become familiar with our ministry.
Please do not feel any pressure to jump in, but I would love to answer any questions you may have. I am Steve Larson, one of the pastors at Oak Heights, and you may send me any message or questions by filling out the form below.
Being at any new setting can be confusing, so I invite you to join at your own pace. You may simply want to observe, pray, listen and be still. That is totally okay. You may also be looking for a place to be involved, to serve and delve into the Bible. We have many opportunities that may interest you. Oak Heights Covenant Church is a community of people who are learning what it is to be, “Rooted in Christ, Thriving Together, and Branching Out in His Love.”

We know visiting a church for the first time can be a little intimidating. Our goal is to help make your first visit to Oak Heights enjoyable and ensure that you feel welcomed. To make your first visit easier we will:
Have greeters at the door to help you find your way. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to serve you.
Help you get your kids checked into our Children’s environments.
Answer any questions that you might have -- before you come or while you're here!
Sunday morning is our main time to gather for coorporate worship.
Summer times (June-August):

During the Sunday school hours we have age appropriate learning for each age level.
During the worship service we have nursery available for children 3 and under. We also have "busy" bags, a children's bulletin, and the Mystery box. Each of these elements have the goal of engaging the children while having them join us in coorporate, generational worship.
Mid-week we have programming for 3 years old through high school. Our Mustard Seed Kids (3years - 5th grade) runs Oct.-May. Our ROOTED Youth (6th-12th grade) runs year round.
This is a common question and changes by each church. Here at OHCC we have some that dress in their finest clothes and some that come in their normal, everyday clothing. Both are welcome, we simply ask that you wear clothes.
We believe that giving to the church (tithing) is for our regular attenders.
If you feel so led to give, there is a drop, lockbox on the wall next to the church office.
Oak Heights is part of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
We believe that there is only one God (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit).
We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
We believe that it is only through the redemptive work of Jesus on the cross that we have salvation.
